The query is pretty much in the title, the curiousity is something that seems less talked about and that is the sound, frequecy and vibration that comes out of the bell of the french horn when it's played surely has an effect on the right hand which is always in it, but does it effect the health of the right hand?
All sound, frequency and vibration have an effect on anything and indeed everything, so therefore being the right hand of the french horn player is in the direct line of fire so-to-speak of the sound coming out of the instrument there must be an effect on that hand, but looking around for any literature on this particular subject hasn't as yet brought up anything relevant, hence asking here of players themselves and hopefully read their experiences, because frankly, if any instrument is going to do it it's the french horn.
